Market Expansion and Operator Integration

Booming Games entered the market during July 2024 with a single operator agreement and has since integrated its catalog with several established platforms across Africa. A strategic partnership with World Sports Betting was confirmed last month, adding selected studio titles to the operator service offering. Over 145 games are currently approved and active in the Mpumalanga, Western Cape, and Eastern Cape provinces.Team Growth and Localization Focus
The local office has doubled its staff count, with additional hiring scheduled for the coming months. The studio received shortlist placements at both the SiGMA Africa Awards and the iGA Summit Awards earlier this year. Development operations emphasize localization, utilizing a regional team to adapt game mechanics and themes to South African player preferences. Solomon Godwin, Head of Africa at Booming Games, noted that "close partnerships with operators are central to our ability to innovate and deliver at speed," adding that these collaborations establish a feedback loop for future game design. The company maintained a physical presence at Durban July, a major annual horse racing event, for the second consecutive year, allowing attendees to test recent releases.
